Author Guidelines

Manuscript structure

The manuscript should contain:

  • Title of the paper, all authors’ full names, names of the institution/company and e-mails
  • Keywords (3-5 words)
  • Abstract (200-250 words), stating originality, novelty and how the work advances state-of-the-art in the field
  • Introduction, main text, conclusion, acknowledgements, references and appendix following the IMRAD scheme (Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion)
Manuscripts should be prepared in MS Word format (*.doc or *.docx) od Adobe PDF (*.pdf) in single column format and font size 12pt. Recommended length of manuscript (figures not included) is 12-15 pages.

Slovene authors submit title, key words and abstract also in Slovene language.

Units of Measurements

Authors should use System International (SI) units and provide alternative units in parentheses wherever necessary.

Preparation of Figures and Tables

It is suggested that all figures and tables are placed within the text in the submitted manuscipt. They should not be submitted in separate files.
If the manuscript is accepted for publication, authors will be asked to provide the source files of figures. Figures should be provided either in vector formats (eps, wmf...) or bitmap formats (tiff, bmp, jpg..). Bitmap images should be of 300dpi.
Tables should be cited consecutively in the text.

When designing the tables and figures, the author should keep in mind that the manuscript will be published in two column format.

References

Authors are responsible for ensuring that the information in each reference is complete and accurate. All references must be numbered consecutively and citations of references in text should be identified using numbers in square brackets (e.g., “as discussed by Smith [9]”; “as discussed elsewhere [9, 10]”).

Copyright

Copyright has to be signed by corresponding author before the accepted manuscript is sent to the publishing office.
